Creating an Inviting Outdoor Dining Area for Your Home

When I first learned about the concept of a virtual showhouse, I was both curious and a bit puzzled. Once I grasped the idea and received an invitation from the team behind it to contribute as a designer, I eagerly accepted.

This virtual showhouse offers an interactive and shoppable experience, brimming with fresh concepts and unique products from an array of brands. Without the limitations of a physical structure, designers can showcase innovative ideas in home design. I was excited to collaborate with talented designers and was fortunate to be assigned the outdoor dining area, a space I truly love.

Drawing inspiration from the beautiful west coast of Brentwood, California, I embraced materials that reflect a California-Mediterranean blend. I used terra cotta, textured stucco, warm wood, and tile to create a cozy atmosphere. This space is designed for intimate gatherings where friends and family can enjoy delicious meals together.
